The Situation
From paper-based fax submissions to standardized digital MIRF templates, several medical information request platforms already exist. But these options are cumbersome and fail to fully address the needs of the sales force. Plus, heightened legal scrutiny and tracking have made the challenge to maintain compliance more difficult than ever. With so many restrictions, how could a mid-size pharmaceutical company equip their reps with a truly functional medical information request tool?

The Solution
A custom mobile application. Drawing on our strategic thinking and technology expertise, Annodyne Health set out to create a tailor-made medical information request application that was not only compliant, but easy for sales reps to use. We created a secure email platform by linking the app directly with the client’s existing mail server. We linked the app to the client’s CRM, so that sales reps can track which customers were making requests, and when, and added an e-signature tool for faster turnaround time and added security. We even implemented an offline capability for use when Wi-Fi is unavailable, sending queued requests when the app reestablishes an Internet connection.

The Result
Annodyne Health delivered a proprietary mobile application that addressed the specific obstacles the client’s own sales team struggled with. The new app automated the tracking and reporting of all documents of value and linked to the client's customer relationship management platform to ensure compliance and speedy delivery of requests.
